Logline

When whip-smart Mala and aspiring NBA player Doug collide at their predominantly white, Ivy League university in the South, they form an unlikely friendship that ignites their worlds. Their unlikely friendship turns heads and sparks fly as they navigate college life together. Will they leap from tutor and tutee to something more?

Director's Note

Crossover is a short film with lots of dialog scenes to edit. Each scene contains at least three camera angles of coverage, with one scene containing 15 angles. This project is perfect for newcomers to editing. The multiple locations around a college campus make for beautiful cinematography and look great on a demo reel.

Teachers please note that there is a little bit of swearing in the film, but no adult storylines. For that reason, we rated it PG13
