Description

In an effort to impress the new head of operations with a “ballsy” demonstration of power, floor manager Campbell decides to fire somebody — and harmless office schlub Gilbert seems like the best choice.

Director's Note

"Gilbert Gets Fired” gives editors the chance to shape an actor's performance, as Gilbert's emotions evolve from slightly worried to full-out panic. In addition to basic coverage like wide shots and close ups, there’s also a great POV (point of view) shot to work with as Campbell marches through the office in search of a target.
