Description

Kurtis Downs is a MTB and BMX savage. He rides for Nitro Circus and competes professionally all the world. This short was filmed amon etherial rock formations in Virgin, UT. The story is about the grit, and support from friends and family that fuels Kurtis and his band of riders as they flock to the desert.

Filmed by the talented UFC sports cinematographer, Kidron Cannon, Dirt and Determination features shots that make any editor’s reel sizzle.

Kidron, a certified drone operator, flies over Utah's incredible landscape. You need to stitch together these elegant aerials with slow-motion action shots and a bike-mounted GoPro. The variety of cameras makes playing with continuity and color fun and challenging.

Editors should be careful not to merely string together tricks in slow-motion but to weave in story elements from a multi-cam seated interview, build anticipation for the larger tricks, and add a variety of pacing to the tricks when they are shown. Dirt and Determination is a challenge and the footage quality will your editing stand out.

Multi User Pro

The multi user pro license includes all the camera source files, audio, and a completed timeline for color and audio mixing practice. The project can be delivered as a Premiere project file or Resolve project file. The footage is delivered on a hard drive. The cost of the drive and shipping is included.
