After a bad deal made by his best friend, a Kung Fu fan boy must fight the neighborhood gang in hopes to impress his crush and survive the night.
Director's Note
Shot in the style of Rush Hour, Takeout challenges editors to master action editing. You must prioritize cuts with energy and matching action to maintain continuity.
When directing an action scene, directors rely on a combination of wide shots showing the entire fight and "insert bits"—like a foot stomping or a hand reaching for a weapon—to give you the precise building blocks needed to punch up the sequence's intensity. By weaving these tight, visceral details into the larger narrative, you create a flow that guides the audience's eyes to make sure they understand what's going on in the fight.

Licensing Explained
Single user licenses - The footage is for you to practice with. Just you. It may be used on your demo reel, and personal website. You may use the term "edited by" and add your name in the credits. There are some restrictions. You may not credit the original filmmakers, claim credit on IMDB, submit your edit to film festivals, or use the content within any other project.
Influencers - No matter the number of subscribers you have you may purchase a single user license and use the Content in online tutorials, vlogs, and other personal promotional activities (or "influencer" activities) as long as you are not being paid by advertisers or viewers for the content. Influencers must credit EditStock in the following ways: By adding a text hyper link to EditStock.com within the description of the post and by giving a verbal thank you to EditStock or displaying the "Footage Provided by EditStock" credit logo included in your download. If you have an audience of at least 1,000 followers you may apply to our partnership program (https://editstock.com/pages/partner-with-editstock).
Multi-user educational licenses - may be shared with an unlimited number of students on one campus. Multi user licenses are a one-time, royalty free cost, not a subscription. Do not use single user license if you want to share footage with students.
In addition to the H.264 media we will send you ProRes material on a hard drive or via FTP.
In addition to the H.264 material, we will send you ProRes and camera source material on a hard drive or via FTP.
Business licensing is flexible. Pricing is determined on a case by case basis depending on what assets are requested and for what purpose they will be used. Only footage licensed in this way can be used for product demos, on websites, or for internal testing.
