Wild Planet Foods is a pioneering seafood company that sources its tuna exclusively from pole and line catch fisheries, reducing bycatch and preserving healthy ecosystems while promoting a healthier and more sustainable seafood industry.
Director's Note
Your client for this short documentary is Whole Foods, who recently awarded Wild Planet, a Global Supplier award. Now the two brands are teaming up to spread awareness about sustainable fishing and farming.
Your job is to take nearly four hours of raw (no pun intended) footage and edit together a three-minute promotional video that highlights the company's efforts. Tell the story of Wild Planet founder, Bill Carvalho, who grew up in a family of sustainable farmers. Now, through his company, the family has grown into world-wide corporation spreading their values.
Wild Planet Foods was named a Whole Foods Global Supplier of the Year for "continuing to elevate [Whole Foods] standards for sustainable seafood sourcing."

Single user licenses - The footage is for you to practice with. Just you. It may be used on your demo reel, and personal website. You may use the term "edited by" and add your name in the credits. There are some restrictions. You may not credit the original filmmakers, claim credit on IMDB, submit your edit to film festivals, or use the content within any other project.
Influencers - No matter the number of subscribers you have you may purchase a single user license and use the Content in online tutorials, vlogs, and other personal promotional activities (or "influencer" activities) as long as you are not being paid by advertisers or viewers for the content. Influencers must credit EditStock in the following ways: By adding a text hyper link to EditStock.com within the description of the post and by giving a verbal thank you to EditStock or displaying the "Footage Provided by EditStock" credit logo included in your download. Multi-user educational licenses - may be shared with an unlimited number of students on one campus. Multi user licenses are a one-time, royalty free cost, not a subscription. Do not use single user license if you want to share footage with students.
