Logline

After a string of disheartening auditions, an actress with Down syndrome receives some much-needed encouragement from an unexpected source.

Director's Note

An uplifting film with mostly short scenes and just a few camera angles, HEADSHOT is a great editing project for beginners.

Because editors will need to cut scenes featuring a deaf character, they must rely heavily on emotional reaction shots to get the story across. Upping the difficultly a bit further is one hefty scene (Scene 5) and a couple of short transitional montages. Music is provided.
