Footage Trouble In Microsoft Windows

Footage Trouble In Microsoft Windows

EditStock footage is compressed with the H.264 codec, wrapped in a QuickTime .mov player. Quicktime files may not play on all PCs running Windows by default. QuickTime for Windows may need to be downloaded separately for your EditStock footage to be playable.

Symptoms of this problem include:

  • Downloaded files cannot be opened in Windows Media Player.
  • Downloaded files do not play in Adobe Premiere, Windows Movie Maker, or Sony Vegas.
