Overview: A cheerful celebration of the very ordinary, Born to be Mild explores the uncommon hobbies practiced by the members of the Dull Men’s Club. This short documentary played at SXSW, and introduced viewers to the mildly profound virtue of being ‘dull, not boring’.
Class Suggestions: Born To Be Mild is perfect to assign as a class project. Each character's story can be cut independently, then assembled by one team "lead" editor. The storylines are very family friendly, but would be more interesting to college age students and older. Directed by Andy Oxley.
Born To Be Mild was given a G rating by EditStock because there is no adult language or story themes. We believe that this film is appropriate for all colleges and high schools.
EditStock's ratings are based on the guidelines set forth by the Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA) rating system. These ratings are issued by EditStock, and NOT the MPAA.
