Insane Biking EDU

  • Overview

Andrew Ingram wants to join the US Mountain biking Pro Tour. To get there he's going to need your help. Your job is to edit this Insane Biking footage into a 5-10 minute promotional video for Andrew. You'll cut footage of him racing, jumping, and eat the dirt as he bikes down one of Johnson Tennessee's most beautiful biking trials on Buffalo mountain.

The Insane Biking project is great as an introduction to documentary A/B style editing. The interview is short (10 minutes), which means it can be tough in a few class periods. However there is tons of B-Roll that can be used not only for the documentary but also as a stand alone sports piece. The footage includes slow motion clips, glide cam, multiple takes around the same run, and lots of excitement for students.
