Alexandra Boyd, Director of The Boxer
Alexandra Boyd's varied career in film, television, theatre and voiceover, spans more than thirty years. She trained in England but lived for seventeen years in the United States where she lived for ten years, in Los Angeles. She moved back to the UK in 2006 and now calls London her home.
Alexandra's Hollywood credits include Mr Holland's Opus with Richard Dreyfuss, The Big Thing with Bryan Cranston, From Paris With Love with John Travolta and James Cameron's Titanic. On TV in America and the UK Alexandra's played many guest starring roles and most notably was Clarissa Manson in the primetime and longest running TV soap - Coronation Street.
Alexandra crowdfunded Boxer on the Wilderness an award-winning short film that had a successful film festival run. Her debut feature is Widow's Walk.
