Lauren Tracy, Director of Legs For Days

After graduating with a degree in film from Rochester Institute of Technology, Lauren worked with Avid, NYU and Kathryn Bigelow to provide financial awards to female filmmakers. After moving from Boston to LA, Lauren spent the next two years editing feature films like YOUR FRIENDS CLOSE.

Lauren founded X-Factor Films (now Blue Fever). With this idea she was a 2013 Dogfish Accelerator (the world’s first film/business incubator) finalist. She went on to be accepted to Boston’s leading incubator Venture Development Center in 2014 at which point she met Greta at the Sundance Film Festival! X-Factor Films now has 22+ Academy-nominated, Emmy-winning, NYT Best Selling, HBO and Netflix distributed, and viral filmmakers with millions of views and hundreds of thousands of fans.

Lauren’s screenplay SWEET DESERT PALM was a Big Vision Empty Wallet 2015 Screenwriters Career Lab finalist and she was a finalist director in the 2015 Lionsgate competition ‘Storytellers: New Voices of the Twilight Saga.
